A Superior Solution For ULCANS Requirements
The Alaska TRACS™ (Thermal, Radar, Aerial Concealment System) is a superior solution for Ultra-Lightweight Camouflage Net System (ULCANS) requirements. A critical component and essential capability on the modern battlefield, our proprietary camouflage screen system significantly improves concealment. Alaska TRACS™ is designed to conceal and protect ground forces, vehicles, artillery, radar, tactical operations centers, and military shelter systems from visual, near-infrared, shortwave, thermal, and radar signature detection.
What is ULCANS?
ULCANS, which stands for Ultra-Lightweight Camouflage Net System, is an advanced camouflage screen used by the military to conceal equipment, vehicles, and personnel from visual and electronic detection. ULCANS is designed to be highly effective across multiple spectra in the visible range, radar, and infrared, making it more difficult for enemy forces to detect assets using various surveillance technologies.
ULCANS replaced the Lightweight Camouflage Screen System (LCSS), initially developed for the U.S. Army. After proving its effectiveness in protecting assets from various detection methods in many operational environments, it was adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps. ULCANS is an essential component in modern military operations. It highlights a successful joint force endeavor to improve strategic interoperability, support expeditionary logistics, and enhance the security and survivability of forward-deployed forces.
