Rapidly Deployable Infrastructure Available from Inventory
Alaska Defense® maintains a large inventory of expeditionary shelter systems, environmental control units, and related equipment, all manufactured, tested, and stored for rapid mobilization.
These systems are already built and maintained in operational inventory, allowing them to be packed, staged, and shipped worldwide on accelerated timelines for urgent mission requirements.
Inventory includes expeditionary shelter systems, environmental control units (ECUs), and support systems designed for rapid deployment in austere environments.
Available systems include:
- Alaska Shelter Systems™ (20’-, 30-, and 40’-wide shelters in varying lengths, 50 or 60 Hz)
- 5-ton Alaska ECUs® (Environmental Control Units, 50 or 60 Hz)
- Power Distribution Systems (50 or 60 Hz)
Optional items such as twin beds, wall lockers, CORADEX Flooring System™ (raised flooring), EnerLayer® insulation systems and other items may be available depending on inventory levels.

Pre-Positioned Expeditionary Infrastructure – Gdańsk, Poland
Alaska Defense® also maintains pre-positioned Berry-Compliant expeditionary infrastructure in Gdańsk, Poland.
This forward-staged inventory allows for accelerated delivery of large-scale expeditionary facilities without the delays associated with overseas manufacturing or trans-Atlantic shipping.
Large-Span Multipurpose Facilities
Pre-positioned large-span engineered fabric structures utilizing the Alaska 40′ Wide Shelter System™ (AK40 Shelter System™) are available in the following sizes:
- 40′ W x 150′ L x 20′ H multipurpose facilities
- 40′ W x 200′ L x 20′ H multipurpose facilities
These facilities can be rapidly deployed for use as:
- Maintenance facilities
- Warehousing and logistics centers
- Billeting facilities
- Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) facilities
- Dining facilities (DFAC)
- Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI) facilities
- Training facilities and classrooms
AK40 Shelter Systems™
Each AK40 Shelter System™ includes:
- Alaska ECUs®
- Internal lighting and electrical kits
- EnerLayer® insulation systems
- External power distribution systems
Personnel Support Equipment
Additional mission support equipment is also pre-positioned in Gdańsk, including:

These systems are packaged and stored for efficient transport and rapid field deployment.
