Alaska Defense’s containerized hygiene facilities are self-contained structures designed with six individual toilet stalls or six private showers. The combo shower and latrine facility has three separate toilets and three shower stalls. These climate-controlled hygiene facilities feature lockable doors, a sink, a mirror, shelves, towel hooks, a power outlet, an exhaust fan, and a fold-down seat (shower container facility only).

Our containerized hygiene facilities feature a rugged design, carefully constructed for rapid, repeated deployments and multiple transportation methods. All our units incorporate forklift pockets and ISO corner blocks to facilitate hassle-free stacking and top lifting, further underlining our commitment to operational efficiency.

Built-in HVAC systems with energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) are crucial to our containerized hygiene facilities. In addition to providing a temperature-controlled environment for year-round use, the ERV system filters and refreshes air circulation while conserving heat. The built-in heat exchanger allows the transfer of heat and moisture between incoming and outgoing air streams, ensuring heat is retained during cold winter months and enhancing comfort levels for personnel.

Each unit is fitted with energy-efficient LED lighting, illuminating each stall brightly while reducing overall energy consumption. This not only provides superior visibility but also contributes to environmental sustainability.

Our containerized facilities can easily be connected to municipal water sources or external water tanks, offering flexibility in terms of water supply and further enhancing their deployment capabilities in

Reinforced, moisture and scratch-resistant paneling ensure our containerized hygiene facilities are easy to clean and maintain. The inclusion of floor drains in all shower and latrine stalls facilitates aid in swift and effective cleaning procedures.
